Do You Know Why Video Is The #1 Digital Marketing Tool For Your Business?
It’s simple: Comfort. That’s the most important reason. I could bombard you with all these statistics and trends on why video is on the rise, but all of that isn’t necessary right now.
When people click on your video it’s ALWAYS at their convenience. It’s in the comfort of their home, office, or leisure time. They’ve invited you into their personal time, so the first thing you shouldn’t do is a hard sell. That’s a turn off.
Your video(s) should inform, educate and/or engage your audience. They should know who you are, what you do, and how it solves their problem. This creates an emotional connection that help build trust, which is vital to a great business-to-customer relationship. By the time your potential client contacts you they should already be ready to buy.
Believe me, when I get contacted it’s not for them to ask me what I do. They already know well in advance what I do and what problem that I’ll solve for them. When they decide to reach out to me it’s with the intent to hire my services.

Video Tip: The sweet spot for a video on your website is between 1 to 2 and a half minutes. A video that’s used for social media shouldn’t be no longer than 1:30. I often check the time before I click on a video, and I know you do as well.
